Workshop Content
UNIT 1 – Introduction to NLP
Unit
1 offers an introduction into the practice of NLP. We learn how
human experiences are processed, about the “Representational
System” (the five senses), the various filters and the main
presuppositions of NLP.
UNIT 2 – the Basic Tools of NLP
You
learn and practice taking different perceptual positions, being
“associated” or “dissociated”, and the position of your
“wiser self”.
UNIT 3 – Creative Reframing
The
ways we think frame our experience. Framing is the way we
“place” our experiences to give them meaning. We will learn
a number of different framing tools. If we change the frame, we
change the meaning.
UNIT 4 – Successful Strategies
We
will model Walt Disney’s 'unbeaten strategy of success'. It is
the strategy for developing your dreams and giving them the best
possibility of becoming reality. We practice three distinct
roles: the dreamer, the realist and the critic.
UNIT
5 – the Neuro-Logic Levels
The
neuro-logic levels form the hierarchy of structures and patterns
in thinking, events, relationship or organizations. We will
learn to distinguish between the different levels and where a
problem or a task is hosted. A solution acting from a higher
level is generally more powerful.
UNIT
6 – Timeline Therapy
Our
actions accumulate over our lifetime. Beliefs, behaviours and
mind patterns arise from it. Any pattern consists of repetition,
therefore change in pattern and behaviour is possible, provided
that we want to do so.
“They
were worried that
they did not have the time for everything.
But
they did not realise
that the expression
'to
have the time'
acknowledges
that it is not actually possible
to
have the time for everything."

What
is NLP?
Neuro-Linguistic-Processing
is a study of human wholeness, it makes available a body of
knowledge about how human beings go about making sense of
their experience and interacting with others.
Thinking,
Feeling and Behaving are all organized through your brain.
NLP gives you the means to understand how your experiences
are created, and to be able to communicate these with
yourself and others.
NLP
offers a particular way of understanding how you and others
function mentally and behaviourally, which means you can
start to make easy and lasting change in your personal and
professional life. NLP shows you a number of important
techniques that have been proven to work for just about
everybody.
NEURO:
Pays
respect to the neurological processes that are induced
naturally by using the senses: visual (imaging), auditory (sound),
kinesthetic (touch and internal feeling), gustatory (taste),
and olfactory (smell). The entirety of our experiences
through these senses has been recreated internally, and
governs our capability and beliefs. It organizes our
behaviour.
LINGUISTIC:
Alludes
to the fact that humans utilize language to organize their
perceptions and to communicate with others. During
communication a person reveals his/her inner values and
individual understanding of the world. Words are powerful.
PROCESSING:
Relates
to the ways from which people can select for organizing
thoughts and actions to meet the desired goals. It describes
the process of learning and changing.

Pontius
Academy
for Personal Development
The
clearly defined mission of the Pontius Academy is to
accompany and support people on their way through personal
development.
Through
individual coaching, competent training and specific focused
workshops, you develop your individual strategy of success
and realise positive alterations in your professional career
and private life.
The
methods and application of this professional training result
in a growing self-confidence and a positive presentation of
yourself.
The
focus of our work is the stimulation and promotion of a
person who is internally congruent and in balance with
his/her environment. Your own personality is the key to
success. Untapped energies will be mobilised, inner
resources will be recognised and appreciated.
The
task of the Academy for Personal Development is to identify
your personal goals and to make sure that they suit you.
They should be realistic, and not geared to fulfill the
expectations of others – and definitely not these of your
coach!
